The day finally arrived that I have my new bike after my bike accident in October last year, which totalled my Colnago C64 and left me with a lot of injuries. I am making great progress healing and have been riding my old Look 585 while waiting for the new bike to arrive. 8 months and 1 week after the accident, my new baby arrived. A surprising thing, since babies normally arrive 9 months after an accident 🤣.
The Colnago C68 (I went with black again) is a new model that was released in 2023 to replace the C64. I was able to salvage some parts from the crash, and I also did not have to buy new wheels, since I was riding my cheaper spare wheels on the day of the accident, and my fancy Zipp 303 NSW wheels with the SRAM Red cassette were safe at home.
