Testing my DSL speed
So I finally managed to install my DSL connection at home. It is through T-Online, and they have a very funny way of setting it up. You have to set up a virtual modem device that connects through username/password, as opposed to just plugging it in. A site that helped me figure this out was t-hilfe.com and I could test my connection speed at dslreports.com. With my dual-ISDN, I got: Uplink 120 kbps, Downlink 123 kbps With my new ADSL, I get: Uplink 127 kbps, Downlink 487 kbps
