We made grilled, braised short rib sandwiches with caramelized onions, petite basque cheese and arugula. The Cassianis brought the appetizers and the Truchards brought dessert. Awesome evening… 7 adults, 7 children. Slow day today.
We celebrated Luc’s 70th birthday (on Thanksgiving day) by taking a limo from Mission Viejo to LA to see the Space Shuttle Endeavor at the California Science Center. The ride was a blast, and the Endeavor quite impressive.
Maureen and I went to John’s birthday party tonight and it was great. Good wine, good music, and a great group of people. Watching the sunset over Napa Valley made me realize again how lucky we are to live here.
