Maureen booked us a table at a special event at Bouchon to celebrate Jacques Pepin. Thomas Keller and Pepin are apparently good friends. Pepin painted the menu by hand. The sausage dish was our favorite!

After the Earthquake, we decided to get together with a few of our friends (Venters and Adderleys) for a barbecue in the back yard. We were also able to celebrate Bernard and Anton’s US Citizenship.

We had quite the celebration today! French Nephew visiting, started with French Toast, watched the Tour de France take on Mont Ventoux, then had lunch at Bistro Jeanty, and dessert at Bouchon Bakery. We are now officially Frenched!
