feb 27 - we took advantage of the last bit of single-child freedom we had, left Daniel at Kathy' in Southern California, and went to Waikiki for a long week-end (celebrated Maureen's birthday there). It was my first trip to Hawaii. Memorable moments were the drive around the island (saw a disappointing Banzai beach on the north shore), the coctails at the Halekulani hotel, and our snorkling trip on the Outrigger Catamaran.
