Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Zoom

I played with Barend’s Tamron zoom (Amazon link) and thought I would compare it to my Canon 28-135mm zoom.  The Tamron is an impressive, fast lens… but you need to stabilize it.  It is heavy, and there is no image stabilization… but shooting at 1/2000 helps 🙂

Just for kicks, I wanted to see what effect the Image Stabilization has on the sharpness of the picture taken with my Canon EF 28-135mm lens.  There is definitely some blurriness from the IS!
